Come visit the Noel Studio for Academic Creativity. We will be hosting an event on EKU’s campus on April 20th in the new Research & Instruction Commons of the library. The entrance will be the side of the library by McGregor! There will be free food, drinks, prizes and t-shirts. Everyone is welcome!

This is a blue print of the first floor of the Noel Studio. It shows the different rooms that the Studio offers, as well as where the furniture and desks will be located in the study areas to give you a better understanding of what the Studio will look like.

-Three presentation practice rooms and a presentation suite.
- A large and open invention space where ideas are born.
-Three breakout spaces for developing ideas, deconstructing existing concepts, and discussing ideas from the invention spaces.
- Two discovery classrooms for seminars, instruction, orientations, and class meetings.
- A conference room for networking across campus or across the globe; will also provide the EKU community with a place to practice group dynamics, panel presentations, and debates.

1.) The gift of $1 million to name the Studio is on of the largest in EKU history.
2.) The Noel Studio will consist of approximately 10,000 square feet located in the heart of EKU’s Crabbe Library, revitalizing a space that has not seen activity and reopening the University Drive entrance.
3.) The Noel Studio that will be staffed by three coordinators (writing, communication, and research) and numerous student consultants.
