Happy St. Patricks Day from the Noel Studio!

This board with all the finishs that will appear in the Noel Studio is currently in the Grand Reading Room of the Crabbe library, stop by and take a look!  The board features carpet samples of what will be used in the Studio and the blue and yellow glass is what will be used for the large windows.

This photo shows the carpet that has been installed as well as the door into a classroom in the Studio.

These new tables have arrived at the Noel Studio.  The tables are on wheels which will allow them to be used in different areas of the Studio.

This is a blue print of the first floor of the Noel Studio. It shows the different rooms that the Studio offers, as well as where the furniture and desks will be located in the study areas to give you a better understanding of what the Studio will look like.

-Three presentation practice rooms and a presentation suite.

–  A large and open invention space where ideas are born.

-Three breakout spaces for developing ideas, deconstructing existing concepts, and discussing ideas from the invention spaces.

– Two discovery classrooms for seminars, instruction, orientations, and class meetings.

– A conference room for networking across campus or across the globe; will also provide the EKU community with a place to practice group dynamics, panel presentations, and debates.

-Research and Instruction Commons where library instruction will take place.
